WRESTLING YEARS

I have been wrestling with what to do about my eyesight for quite a while now. I finally settled on wearing contact lenses. My girlfriend, however, is not so happy about the possibility of having to wear any kind of corrective lens at all. She loves to play volleyball, and as she has gotten older, her eyesight is just not what it used back in the day when all body parts worked to perfection. It’s not like she is ancient though — mid 20’s is a good place to be. She has noticed that the eyesight is not as sharp as it used to be. Unlike me, she has decided she will get sight correction surgery and be done with it. She figures if she does get the surgery, she should be good to go for another 10 years at least, possibly longer. I can see her point o view, but I can’t bring myself to do it. If I could be sure that the surgery would cause me not to have to wear glasses, ever again, I would be more willing to sign on to have it done. I guess I am just a chicken when it come to messing with my eyes.
