AVID BIKE RIDER

I am an avid bike rider, no matter what the weather condition is. Well, maybe I let my bike sit idle when it’s winter in Chicago. Or when it’s raining outside. Even sometimes when it’s just plain too hot to do anything except plop on the sofa near the air conditioner and plug in my earphones and read a good book. This is exactly where I was the other day when I got a phone call from my friend asking all kinds of bankruptcy questions that she thought I should have the answers to by virtue of the fact that I work in a law firm for bankruptcy attorneys. Well, I hated to burst her bubble-she can be very bubbly indeed, and she is also quiet talkative, a person can hardly get a word in edgewise when she gets going on a subject. I kept trying to interject and find out exactly what it was she was talking about. But she was all over the place, from one thought to another. It’s so frustrating trying to figure it all out! So I decided to just stay cool, sit by my air conditioner and just grunt now and then until she ran our of steam.
